THIRD CIRCULAR Dear all, On a previous letter we informed you that we have TO DELAY the XII MEDECOS meeting originally planned to be held in La Serena, Chile, between Friday 1st October - Monday 4th October 2010. On that time we proposed to held the meeting during OCTOBER 2011 in Concepción, CHILE. However, as you probably know, on February 27th a terrible earthquake hit central Chile, particularly the city of Concepcion and their surrounding, causing serious damages that make logistically impossible to conduct the meeting in our country. ISOMED is seeking a new place to host the XII MEDECOS meeting that should be held during 2011. We apologies for the inconvenient derived by this decision. We really hope the understanding of the scientific community and we will let you know any new information as soon as we get it.
